Paper prints can be a maximum of 24" wide including borders.
Paper print image sizes include a 2-3" border, which includes space for the print title, while canvas prints have no border or title.
The Richard Huhn Art Studio is pleased to offer Giclée reproductions on fine art paper or canvas by Jordan Artworks. Giclee reproductions are as close to the original art as possible. Giclée ("zhee-clay") is a French word meaning "that which is sprayed". The process is a highly advanced method of fine art reproduction using archival dye based inks. A computer controlled, sophisticated ink-jet printer designed specifically for this process creates a near-continuous-tone image on fine-art media such as canvas and watercolor paper.
Giclée prints are created using specially designed, computer controlled printers on archival watercolor paper or canvas. The result is a very high-quality, near-continuous-tone print on fine-art media, which much better mimics the surface qualities and integrity of the original. Giclée technology is a sophisticated, cutting edge process and therefore expensive. The resulting quality is unsurpassed with the look and feel of original fine art. Using a high quality watercolor paper or canvas, like Jordan Artworks does, longevity of eighty-five years can be achieved.
The cost of printing a single Giclée print is a lot higher than the unit cost of a large set of prints using lithography. Each print is printed one at a time as ordered on 140 lb. Arches archival watercolor paper (or on canvas). This process reproduces the original painting with amazing clarity and color. The sequence of limited edition prints will only be numbered up to 500.

Each print is intended to be printed full-size, but other proportional sizes can be produced. The sizes that result, however, will not usually match standard canvas or frame sizes. Please consult with the artist before placing such orders. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. All prints will be custom made for each order.
